Neo’s MRI & emergency visit. Bacterial infection
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Alex, I live in Northern California with my good boy, Neo. Neo is a 4 year old American bully and my best friend. Those of you that know me know how much Neo means to me. 3 days ago we went out with some friends to the river to swim. The following day Neo wasn’t moving around much and we figured he was just sore from being at the river and swimming but as the days went on Neo was no longer able to stand up or walk on his own. After seeing that he wasn’t eating, drinking, or able to go to the bathroom or control his back left legs, I took Neo to the vet late last night where they quickly informed me that he no longer has feeling in his back paws which was the cause of a spinal cord injury. They recommend he be transferred immediately to a different facility to see a Neurologist, get and MRI and emergency surgery for his back. With this type of injury, time is of the essence and the more time that passes without surgery, Neos chances of walking and living a functional healthy life, decreases tremendously. Neo was just taken in for his MRI which I paid in full upwards 5k. If there’s anything you can donate to help me cover the remaining cost for the spinal cord surgery, Neo and I would greatly appreciate it.
