Calling on all who have had the pleasure and privilege of knowing our supaw pup trainee (and sock/scrunchie/soft fabric disposal unit)...ZARA.
I'm raising money for Assistance Dogs Australia to help cover the costs of recent medical bills for life-saving emergency surgery to remove a mysterious item from Zara's intestine. Zara is safe and has a slow journey toward recovery and advanced training ahead of her.
Assistance Dogs Australia trains dogs that specialise in support for people with a physical disability, autism or PTSD. Dogs are placed entirely free of charge with clients across Australia, and increase the freedom and independence of people living with disability.
It takes two years to train puppies and costs over $35,000 to provide a qualified Assistance Dog. Assistance Dogs Australia relies on the generosity of benefactors, community donations, and volunteers to raise healthy, happy dogs that can transform the quality of a person's life. Every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to a cause (and a puppa) that means so much to me.
