Emergency Shelter Assistance For A Family In Need

   Hi, my name is Alia, I'm the mother of an amazing 2.5 year old boy. Currently unexpectedly expecting-- due Valentine's day with a baby girl. We live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, together with our son & his large breed dog.

  My husband and I recently lost our residence due to an unforseen and unfair eviction. We have since been homeless, living in our old F250 for the past month+ with our son and the family dog. We are currently spending all of our monthly income on hotel fares to stay out of the cold, unfortunately we do not make enough to keep paying the hotel for more than two days at a time, and are constantly worried and moving back and forth between sleeping in the truck and hotel rooms. 

  We are asking for donations to support emergency hotel fares, and move-in costs (i.e. first, last, deposits, and utilities etc.) for a more stable living situation if possible. 

  Our family has applied for all of the county's housing assistance programs and have not yet found any relief for our situation. Shelters are all full, and we are on wait lists for housing and emergency assistance everywhere possible.

  We currently have one night left in the hotel room, and then we will be back in our truck just in time for the approaching snow storm
