9/24/23 I decided to take our four dogs out for a hike; to a place we’ve been many times before. Unfortunately this time porcupines were right off the trail and two of our dogs went right after them. Dori got the worst of it and Booch received quite a few as well. We are just trying to cover the expenses as this was so unexpected. Unfortunately today 9/25 Dori passed away in the morning; we believe with all the swelling she was unable to breathe. She did get a lot of the quills in her tongue and mouth. We are both at a loss for words losing Dori. We’d only adopted her at the end of April. We wanted to give her the best loving home as her life before us wasn’t great. anything is appreciated, thank you so much
