Emergency: Save Gabriel, Left to Die and Fighting to Survive

While many are celebrating Easter and the resurrection of Christ, we find ourselves in the middle of a real-life resurrection mission – fighting to bring a starving dog named Gabriel back from certain death.

He was found on Easter Sunday, curled up in a bush on the corner of a building, completely emaciated and ready to give up on life. The police were called – but they didn’t come. And even if they had, there is no government-funded medical help for dying, abused, or abandoned animals in Spain. This is a harsh truth that is difficult to accept, especially for those from other countries.

But one person refused to look away. He found the dog and he made call after call until someone responded. One of our Triple A team members rushed to the scene, and Gabriel is now on the way to an emergency clinic.

But we have no funds to cover the medical bills.

We are asking – urgently – for your help. Let’s come together and give this soul a second chance at life. Let this Easter be the moment Gabriel comes back to life and then once he wins the battle for his health, to find a loving home.

He has been named Gabriel – after the archangel, the messenger of God – a symbol of hope, faith, and divine purpose. He is skin and bones, but he is still breathing.
