Emergency Room Funds for Wormy

Donation protected
1/15 UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your care and donations to my little one. Wormy was admitted to the ER for hospitalization earlier this morning. The neurologist believes he suffered a stroke which caused his episode of vestibular syndrome and he is currently unstable in their care. Any support means everything to us, thank you.

[Original Post, 1/14]: Wormy is the most precious little old dachshund you can find, and right now I’m worried he may not make it to his 13th birthday next month.

Over the last few months, Wormy has built up a long list of worrying medical issues, from his kidneys to back pain and arthitis. Thankfully I work at a vet so I’ve been able to get discounted quality care to tend to these needs.

On 1/14, Wormy suffered an episode of Idiopathic Vestibular Syndrome where I found him unable to walk, crying in pain, and moving his head in circles. He also has swelling and bleeding on his face on body, likely from being confused and harming himself before I came home.

Wormy has now been recommended to see a neurologist at an ER, which will cost $1,000s (just an MRI is $4,000-6,000) and his needs will potentially require overnight hospitalization (another lofty cost).

Without further finances to dedicate to his care, I’m very concerned that he could decline due to my financial situation. If you’re able to donate to his care, anything helps and it would mean the world to us both. Thank you <3
