I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping my grandma repair her home. My grandma is a stroke survivor and is physically disabled. She has suffered extensive water damage to her home, particularly in the laundry area, the water heater, and the floor. The water damage has made her living space unsafe. My grandma uses a walker and risks falling when trying to use this portion of her home.

Although family and friends have stepped in to help where they can, the cost of materials and labor to repair this portion of her home is beyond our means. My grandma no longer has home insurance to cover these expenses. And after seeking help from local agencies and the United Way, we are unable to secure any financial assistance from these organizations either.

In addition to her floor and laundry area, there are other parts of her home that require repairs, including cleaning, replacing wood panels, and painting. Her kitchen requires extensive repairs, but the most urgent need is in the laundry area.

We’ve found a contractor who is willing to complete the work outlined above for $4,000. Any contribution would make a tremendous difference in helping my grandma safely and comfortably live in her home once again. She would be so grateful for any support you could offer.
