Dear friends,

We, the Tabernacle of Refuge, a family of churches and ministries in Belgium, Canada, Jamaica and the UK, are raising funds on behalf of one of our churches, Christian Glory Church of Jesus Christ, located in Montpelier District, St. James, Jamaica, under the leadership of our Bishop of Jamaica, Archbishop Oshane Gayle.

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, our church family in Montpelier (near to Montego Bay) has suffered severe devastation. The church building and the homes of many members have been destroyed, roofs torn away, belongings lost, and families left exposed with nowhere secure to rest. A house that has long stood as a place of prayer, refuge, and unity can no longer shelter God's people in its current condition.

Our first priority is to repair the roofing on the site, restoring the facility as a place of sanctuary, safety, rest, and strength during this crisis. The church must once again be a house of refuge, not only spiritually, but physically, a place where the community can gather and be protected during this critical time.

Today, our brothers and sisters in Jamaica urgently need our support. Their faith remains unshaken, but they need our help to rebuild.

We kindly ask for your prayers, your generosity, and your partnership in this mission. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to restoring God’s house and providing shelter for His people.

Thank you for standing with us in compassion, unity, and love.

With gratitude and blessings,

Archbishop Otis V. Wilks
