Hi, my name is Brittany and I live in Vancouver, Canada.

I’m currently going through a very difficult situation and I’m asking for help to avoid becoming homeless. I recently lost my job unexpectedly and have been actively applying for new work and attending interviews. Because of this sudden loss of income, I have fallen behind on my rent.

My landlord informed me that I currently owe 2 months and half in rent. He has kindly given me until March 27th to pay at least $1,100, and few weeks for the rest otherwise I'll have to leave. I simply don’t have the funds right now.

I recently embraced Islam and I am doing my best to rebuild my life with stability and dignity. Right now we are in the last ten nights of Ramadan, which are very special days for Muslims when many people give charity to help those in need.

If anyone is able to help during this blessed time, even a small amount would mean so much to me and would help me keep a roof over my head while I work hard to get back on my feet.

I am actively looking for work and attending interviews, and I am determined to become financially stable again. Your support would help me get through this emergency period.
