Emergency rent and moving costs
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Blake, I'm a trans-woman living in so-called London, Ontario. I've been trying to get on social services (welfare/disability) since the winter months of this year due to chronic illness making working a job or college impossible as of right now while I wait to receive more treatment. And while I did end up JUST getting on OW as of May 23- I had to use everything I had saved, including selling a lot of my belongings- to pay for rent, medical care, phone bill, and food over the course of the past 5-6 months. I now have very little to my name and I need every dollar I can gather to pay for first and last because I can't live here anymore. I'm *still* trying to sell a phone and macbook air I have for extra funds but to no avail. The environment is so toxic and horrible in this house as well as my food and belongings being broken/stolen constantly. I'm tired of living in my room and leaving it as little as possible. So I have worked with my friends on a contingency plan because they have very graciously offered their place for me to temporarily stay at while I look to find a new place asap. I am currently looking to move in with some other good friends of mine ASAP (for June/July) however its getting too close to the end of the month with nothing secured yet. Any and all donations will go towards first/last rent deposit and any more will go towards bills or necessities like groceries. I am hoping that not having to throw $755 towards rent for one month will help me be able to save up the funds required for a rent deposit for an actually good and safe place to live. Whether you share or donate or simply just read this. Thank you for your time. I appreciate it.
