I'm reaching out on behalf of Tariq Brady, a beloved friend and kindhearted soul who is facing an urgent housing and health crisis.

Tariq’s current apartment has been found to have severe black mold—so serious that it’s directly affecting his health. Breathing issues, chronic fatigue, and other symptoms have made it impossible for him to stay safely in the unit. Despite being in active litigation with his landlord to recover moving expenses, the legal process is slow, and his health can't wait.

To make matters even more difficult, Tariq recently underwent a serious back procedure, which has left him temporarily unable to work or generate income. He is doing everything in his power to stay strong and positive, but he urgently needs help from the community to move forward.

We are hoping to raise $4,500 to help Tariq relocate to a clean, safe living environment. This will cover moving costs, a security deposit, first month’s rent, and essential expenses while he continues to heal and regain his strength.

Tariq has always been someone who shows up for others with a generous and open heart. Now, it’s our turn to support him in his time of need.
