emergency relocation for fawn and madrone

hey it’s obsidian on behalf of fawn and madrone. in the aftermath of rosalie’s suicide on march 1st, some extreme and impossible to foresee circumstances demand that we vacate our home immediately for legal and safety reasons. please know these circumstances are far beyond the control of my friend who had been gifting me the use of land for the last two years. it is simply not an option for things to unfold another way.
in my time here, i have used this space to build a home completely from scratch, to live in beautiful collaboration with rosalie, and ultimately to rest and become myself. fawn and madrone had been trying to return home to me for over a year, held back by incessant memorials elsewhere. rosalie’s death was enough of an emergency to have to make the trip home happen.
but the news that we must leave came a few days ago, just one month after fawn and madrone finally got back, hardly over a month since rosalie died, and so soon after finding out about dear adri and fable too. i need help to make sure they can get out quickly and safely amidst all this. fawn and madrone are absolute delights and have become my family over the years.
the bare minimum of associated costs include dump runs, serious mechanical repairs (engine work, windows replacement, wheel replacement) and gas to get their bus back all the way across the country, and food along the way. i am hoping that we can raise additional funds for their ongoing living expenses for the next few months as they try to find some sense of ease and stability after everything happening so much all the dang time. all funds from this campaign are for fawn, madrone, and their beloved cat bramble, who is rosalie’s most favorite cat of all. it is absolutely tragic to be facing displacement in such a horrific way after compounding grief, and any support is quite necessary towards their timely exit and towards lessening the trauma of it all.
