Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm, has left Jamaica reeling. The devastation is widespread — homes destroyed, fields flooded, roads washed away, and communities struggling without power, food, or clean water.
Among those most affected are the young athletes and families of Valeo Futbol Club Jamaica — a community that has inspired hope and opportunity through football for over a decade.
Our players, coaches, and families are now facing unimaginable hardship. Many have lost their homes, their belongings, and their access to basic necessities. Yet through it all, they remain resilient — determined to rebuild, recover, and continue representing Jamaica with pride.
About Valeo FC Jamaica
Valeo FC Jamaica is part of the Valeo Futbol Club global family, a nonprofit youth football organization dedicated to developing character, leadership, and excellence through sport.
From Kingston to Montego Bay to Portmore, Valeo serves hundreds of youth from underserved communities, using football to teach discipline, teamwork, and hope.
Today, we are asking for your help to ensure that these young players and their families can get back on their feet.
