Emergency relief, House taken down to its studs
Donation protected
Good Afternoon,
I bought my house 5 years ago, I found out recently from my neighbor that the previous homeowner added what is called a stucco patch over the existing stucco to hide cracking within the stucco walls. The house was older, thus there was also an AC unit in the wall that they removed and when it was removed it damaged and made a hole in the moisture barrier which was designed to prevent water from entering the house. Over the past winter, water started coming through the cracks that were present but patched over causing massive damage to the interior and exterior of the house. I am working with a company called GR Home Renovation on getting the issues fixed currently. I am asking for assistance and donations to help cover the cost since homeowners insurance does not cover the exterior damages. The total amount for damages exceeded 61,000.
I am a disabled veteran who served in the US Army from 2014 to 2017, I just recently became employed and am struggling with paying for the exterior repairs. If you have time to share my story and help I would be forever grateful.
