Emergency Relief Fund for Neil Blanchette

Many of us having been wondering how we can be helpful in this extraordinarily difficult time when so many are suffering, in so many ways. We learned this week that one of our own is going through a very difficult time.
Neil Blanchette (Hastings, Diamond, LHS) is facing a substantial health crisis that has rendered him unable to work for the time being. Earlier this summer, a neurosurgeon diagnosed Neil with multiple blood clots on his spine - a very painful condition that has limited his activity.
He has been out of work since July 11th. Even though he works for a great company and has health insurance, the reduction in income and repeated trips to the ER for the initial diagnosis have taken a financial toll.
We’re grateful that Neil reached out over Facebook to let us know about his situation, giving us an opportunity to help in a concrete way. So, we’re taking the month of September to raise money to help offset the financial burden and make Neil's journey through this crisis a little easier. All donations, no matter the size, are helpful and appreciated!
