Emergency Relief Fund for Alex and Amanda
Alex, a loving husband and father, suffered a critical head injury on February 16th. Currently, his amazing wife Amanda is by his bedside 24/7 while he recovers at the UMD Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit; we ask for those who have read this far to consider aiding the financial security of the family which also includes two children.
Friends and family are forming a support system so Amanda may focus on taking over business operations, resume responsibilities as the head of the family, and work towards Alex’s recovery (which is projected at 6-12 months). We simply ask that you bestow a contribution towards the family by considering a donation within your budget. After all, small pieces of sand make up a beach front.
Alex and Amanda worked extremely hard last summer to create a successful business, loving home, and thus brought to life the American dream of a pursuit of happiness. They are currently at risk of having this solid base falter to an unprecedented and tragic event.

-Every day utility bills, rent, and food. Please consider the well being of the two children that are a part of this family.
-Business expenses such as a lien on the business vehicle, QuickBooks subscription, direct marketing to their client base, internet, and cell phones.
-Moving expenses to accommodate Alex in the future and ground the family in a new environment.
