On August 26, 2026, catastrophic flash floods swept through Nepal's Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts near the Tibet border, destroying entire villages along the Trishuli and Bhotekoshi rivers. Over 160 people have been confirmed dead, with hundreds still missing, including many tourists caught in the disaster.

Roads, bridges, homes, and power infrastructure across the region have been severely damaged or destroyed.

Being from Nepal, this situation has hit very close to home, quite literally. This has been nothing short of a heartbreaking disaster for our country and its people. It is truly devastating to watch hundreds lose their homes and loved ones. I want to help with this by raising funds to send to Nepal so it can be of some relief for survivors.
