Emergency relief for Tom and Peg Barratt

Before moving to Ft. Myers, Florida, Tom and Peg Barratt spent decades pouring into the lives of families all over Missouri. They’ve always used their own resources sacrificially for ministry in the areas of their calling. As their very connected principal, so many of us feel like Peg helped raise our kids over the years! Likewise, so many disabled individuals have been impacted by Tom’s work with Boone Center and other organizations. In recent years, they’ve spent many of their days selflessly caring for elderly neighbors as they see needs arising, while simultaneously building their own “condo-watching” business. After hurricane Ian swept through, they found themselves in the heart of the destruction….with no vehicles, no drinking water, no power….and no business. So far there is no relief in sight. They can’t even get through to the insurance company. What are they doing now? Helping their neighbors, of course! Because that’s who they are. Cash flow in the interim, though, is a huge concern. They are trying to pool resources with neighbors, and working together all day, every day to be a “light” to them. If your family has been blessed by the Barratts in any way, or if their example blesses you, please show them your appreciation by giving as you feel led.
