Friends, Family, and Well Wishers, myself Tanaisha, Tia and husband, Chad have created this GoFundMe for Emergency Relief for My Family After Hurricane Melissa’s Devastation in Montego Bay, St. James.

On October 31, 2025, Hurricane Melissa—one of the strongest Category 5 hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic—made its agonizing pass over Jamaica, bringing catastrophic winds of up to 185 mph. My family in Montego Bay, St. James parish was directly in its path.

Today, they are alive—but displaced, with every home on our family property suffering major structural damage. Roofs were torn off, walls collapsed, furniture destroyed, and essential belongings lost. Due to the severe impact on infrastructure and the current lack of cellular service, the images shared here are the only communication we’ve received so far.

Despite the devastation, we are grateful that every family member survived. But they are now in urgent need of food, water, essential supplies, and tools to help clear debris and begin the recovery process. Due to shipping restrictions we are limited to accepting monetary donations only.
