Emergency Funding for Surgery for my Dog, Indyra (Indy)
Donation protected
Unfortunately, I have fallen on hard times. My work contract ended for my last job on January 8th, and I was having trouble finding new work. I recently started working with my last job again, as a permanent employee as opposed to a temporary as before. I was out of work from January 8th until April 14. Before that, I was constantly applying for new work, interviewing, and looking for any work I could get.
I am struggling to afford emergency surgery for my dog, my bills, food, and my rent. I have opened my apartment for rent again, but haven't found a roommate so far with stable income. I have been selling belongings where I can on KSL Utah. I had a car emergency, medical expenses, and two vet emergencies for my eldest cat, Eva, and my dog, Indyra. These costs have completely wiped out all my savings, loans/grants from school, and still left me in significant debt. I have some help from family, but ultimately, that money is being lent and limited.
My cat, Eva, has a dermatological issue that has been going on for roughly a year, and we haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. She is need of a culture, since all steroids, antibiotics, pest treatment, and food allergy tests have failed to yield positive results.
Indyra has a UTI and multiple large bladder stones. They are too large to pass without surgery. I have applied for emergency funding from multiple organizations for this issue, but this is the most urgent issue that needs to be addressed. Less urgently, but she also has a ripped-off dew claw and a torn paw pad, which she obtained while on a group dog hike.
I hate to ask for help, but I am in dire need of assistance. My dog needs life-saving surgery ASAP. Any assistance would mean the world to me and my pets, whom I consider family. Thank you for your time and consideration. It is greatly appreciated.
