My hometown, Montería, Córdoba, Colombia, is facing one of the most devastating catastrophes in recent years. After weeks of relentless heavy rains, the Sinú River has overflowed, leaving more than 80% of the department under water. Entire communities have been destroyed. Families have lost their homes, their belongings, and their sense of security overnight. Right now, children, elderly people, and even their pets are crowded into temporary shelters with almost nothing.

They urgently need food, clean water, medications, sleeping mats, pillows, baby diapers, basic hygiene supplies, clothes, and pet food. These are not luxuries — they are basic necessities for survival and dignity. All funds raised will be sent directly to Fundación Amor Fiel, a local foundation in Montería where I previously volunteered. They are on the ground actively purchasing essential supplies and delivering them directly to the shelters to ensure help reaches families as quickly as possible.

This is deeply personal to me. Montería is where I was born and raised — it is home. If my city needs help, I want to do everything in my power to support my beloved Córdoba.
