Emergency Relief for MBIC: Crisis Support, Healthcare Access
Tax deductible
MBIC provides essential crisis intervention, emergency case management, and access to healthcare for individuals facing instability. As funding shifts and services are restructured, those who rely on us—including individuals with disabilities, veterans, those struggling with mental health challenges, underemployed individuals, and low-income families—are at risk of losing the support they need.
Every day, we work to bridge financial and resource gaps by connecting people to food assistance, housing stability, medical care, and employment support. Whether it’s ensuring someone can access critical prescriptions, receive emergency transportation to a medical appointment, enroll in job training, or find immediate shelter, MBIC is often the last line of defense for those falling through systemic cracks.
Right now, we are seeing an increase in:
✔ Loss of Medicaid benefits—leaving individuals without access to necessary care, therapy, and medications.
✔ Food insecurity—families and seniors unable to afford daily meals.
✔ Housing instability—individuals on the verge of displacement due to funding cuts.
✔ Lack of healthcare access—those struggling to navigate a complex system while needing immediate care.
✔ Employment barriers—people needing vocational training or job placement assistance to regain financial stability.
Your donation helps individuals like:
A single mother who lost her Medicaid coverage and needed urgent assistance securing alternative healthcare for her child.
A veteran struggling with mental health challenges who needed emergency housing and case management support.
A young adult unable to afford transportation to a life-saving medical appointment, with no one else to turn to.
MBIC has always stepped in to fill these gaps, ensuring people are connected to the resources they need. But without immediate funding, our ability to continue providing these critical services is at risk.
Your support today will:
✔ Ensure individuals receive access to medical care, mental health services, and therapy.
✔ Fund emergency crisis intervention and case management services.
✔ Provide immediate food assistance to families experiencing hunger.
✔ Help secure emergency housing for those in need of stability.
✔ Support job training and educational programs to help people gain employment.
