The storm last week left a lot of people without power and many with damage. But for my friends, Katie Bruce & Justin Stone and their daughters, the storm did much more than just damage their home, it nearly killed them and left them homeless. A tree snapped the power line in front of the house sending a live current through their home, their appliances started to spark and the house began to fill with smoke. They acted quickly to get themselves and the girls out of the house and are grateful and lucky to be alive. We are so thankful to the Mason Fire Dept for getting there within 7 minutes of the call and saving what they could of their home and belongings.

Unfortunately, (due to other circumstances in their life) they had let their renters insurance lapse and therefore have no insurance or savings to help them recover from this loss. They are in a crisis and are in need of immediate housing! If you know Katie, you know she is a helper and has a huge heart of gold. She loves her people and is always helping the next person in need. Now it's our turn to help her and her family out! They need help getting back on their feet, they need help accumulating funds for a new place to live, they need resources and prayers and all your words of encouragement!
