My name is Jim Asch, a Vietnam Veteran and semi-retired chiropractor. The reason I'm using GoFundme is because we have fallen on extreme hard times. My wife Carole had a stroke 113 weeks ago and I was not able to work, as I was at the Mission Hospital 2 to 3 times daily and the follow-up therapy facility. Carole is now home recovering and continues to improve.
In my case, I've had Post Shingles (post herpetic neuralgia) on my left side from my hip to my arm pit, for 4 years and 8 months. When I put on a shirt or put on my seat belt, all hell breaks loose. The slightest touch on the area is pain beyond description.
We were barely ab;e to pay our August rent, paid on the 30th. Many of our utility bills continue to be past due. Your donations will provide us emergency relief, covering our immediate needs like food, shelter, and medical care. We have rented and lived in this house for over 35 years. Our daughter supplies us with essential groceries and necessities. We are doing our best to survive this temporary crisis, but need your help financially. I'm ashamed to ask for help, but our survival is most important. As of today, our July & August rent has been paid. Now I'm praying we can receive enough to pay our September rent.
I have currently completed my four psychiatric evaluations for PTSD. I have worked on and completed a required 10 point letter regarding what is necessary for evaluation to increase my disability rating to 100%. I pray it is accepted.
Please continue to our fundraiser and share it to reach a much wider audience.
Thank you and may God bless you.
Jim & Carole Asch
