Emergency relief for flood effected family
Donation protected
Since July 2020, floods have devastated many area's of South Sudan particularly in the Bor region, leaving many displaced, dead, unsheltered, without food, clean water and healthcare necessities.
There's been absolutely no help or recognition of what's going on by the South Sudanese government making the situation so much more stressful and unknown.
My direct family are some of the close to one million people drastically effected by these floods, they're now displaced and staying in a junk yard on the outskirts of the flooded town. At the moment they're relying on UN handouts which are inconsistent and not enough, neither sustainable for the 8 members, including 2 elderly and 1 pregnant woman who are in need of medical attention as soon as possible.
With the funds, I'm aiming to move all 8 members out of Bor and into the capital city Juba, setting them up with a safe place to stay and immediate medical support for the vulnerable members.
Please share this with your networks and whatever you donate would be of great help.
