Help Family with Small Children in Gaza

Hi, my name is Charu and my family has good friends in Gaza who need emergency help. Bissan and Adnan Qudaih have a 4 year old daughter Alma, and Bissan delivered their baby boy, Salem, on November 13 while displaced under unimaginable conditions. They are now in a tent in Rafah. They are all skipping meals and Bissan is struggling to feed their baby. Prices have soared because everyone is desperate for what little is available and they are completely dependent on free aid at this point. Their home was destroyed and they have nothing. They asked us to help raise money for them to get basic necessities like formula, diapers, food and clothing. They are able to receive Western Union in Rafah so we will be able to transfer any money we can raise for them, and we will post updates here.

Bissan wrote this to us:

My name is Bissan and I am a 29 year old woman from Khan Younis. My family had a beautiful, simple life before the war. I was 7 months pregnant, and my husband, Adnan, had a good job as a carpenter and we had a beautiful home. Alma celebrated her 4th birthday in May. She was a happy little girl always giggling, but now she cries everyday with fear and I can’t comfort her. I had to deliver my son in horrific conditions on November 13. We have been displaced four times since the war began, including the day after I gave birth. He is the only good thing that has happened for us. But all our baby knows of this world is fear, death, and destruction. I can’t give him all the love he deserves because we are living a nightmare. All we care about right now is our babies. They don’t deserve this. Please help us.
