The Georgetown Ontario Instagram page has started this fundraiser for a family in our community whose home was tragically destroyed in a fire on August 22, 2025.

Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the family has lost nearly everything - clothing, furniture, personal belongings, and the place they call home. In this difficult time, we want to rally around them and help provide immediate relief for essentials, temporary housing, and the long road of rebuilding ahead.

Our goal is to ease their burden and show them that they are not alone, and that their community stands beside them. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference as they begin to recover from their loss.

Please note that 100% of the contributions will be given to the family. This specific GoFundMe page is organized by the Georgetown Ontario Instagram page and is not meant to interfere with other efforts of fundraising for this family.
