My name is Nikki Medwell and I am raising funds to help Tabatha and the kangaroos of "Dhil'um-Bar Kangaroo Sanctuary".

A week ago massive storms ripped through the region destroying the shelter and taking its power out and destroying the infrastructure of the kangaroos "safe space" as they heal.

Tabatha battled to keep her patients safe and not a life was lost.

She stood by the kangaroo people during the disaster and protected them when they were at their most vulnerable and now she needs our help.

Right now she needs disposable funds and she needs them immediately.

Her focus was and is securing power to the property to keep her patients warm, their IV machines operational and medications refrigerated.

The local electrical supplier, as you can imagine, understaffed and with people screaming in every direction it was unsure when power would be restored. Tabatha's neighbours arranged for power to be connected privately but at a cost. A cost that simply got piled on top of an already mounting debt as she struggles to keep everyone calm and cared for.

The kangaroo people of Dhil'um-Bar Kangaroo Sanctuary need us all to step up and dig deep. Every patient has a story to tell. Let's make sure they get back home to tell it ❤️
