On Monday morning Brooke was on her way to Anchorage to drop her boyfriend off at the airport. There had been an accident off the side of the road, a car completely engulfed in flames. Brooke tapped her brakes to slow down and completely lost control. Her truck left the roadway and crashed head on, into a tree. The impact was so hard it caused her truck to roll, coming to rest on its roof. Brooke and Dave were able to escape the truck with minor injuries, but the truck is a total loss.
If that wasn’t bad enough, 24 hours after the accident, Brookes boss called to let her know the restaurant she works at, had to close until further notice. An employee tested positive for Covid-19.
I know she has served all of us a time or two, at local restaurants. Now it’s time for us to serve her. Let’s help her get through this difficult situation and back on her feet again! Any donation will go directly to Brooke and her family.
