Emergency rehoming of me and the cat

Hi Robin Scarlett here,

Well this is embarrassing but here we go...

My partner of 8 years has left me to move home to Australia because, well, its awful in this country and I'm not enough to make it okay.

I will no longer be able to afford where I'm living with the looming cost of living crisis and so need to move ASAP. I was homeless for a number of years so the fear is real for me and I do not want to find myself and my cat sofa surfing.

No I do not want to get a lodger, my mental health is very fragile right now and I would be awful to live with. I just want somewhere I can exist.

I ask for your help because I have no savings or rich parents to bail me out, my mum is a pensioner living in a council house barely scraping by and I haven't a clue where my father is.

I need enough for a deposit and a month's rent upfront so I can give myself a two week transition between homes. I have Fibromyalgia so I need a slow move so I don't break and can continue working.

I know times are hard so please don't feel obliged in anyway but if you can help I would be extremely grateful.

I'm heart broken but hopefully not homeless.

Anything I don't need will be donated locally to a social scheme that could do with help too.
