Hi my name is Maria and last night on 1/1/22 our very loved fur baby Ella got hit by a car and ran over going at least 50 miles an hour. The car never slowed down or stopped and unfortunately I had to witness all of it. My kids and I are devastated. She miraculously survived but is at Med Vet on Santa Teresa in the ICU. They expect her to recover but not without surgery to repair a broken jaw and teeth and unsure of other surgeries at this time. Neurologically she appears appropriate however there is concern because her pupils are not equal which could inside brain damage. Internally things are looking stable as of now but its still early on. I am a single full time mom that works full time to make ends meet and provide for my family. I don’t have extra funds lying around so these expenses are a huge weight on my shoulders. So far the total bill is 3,500 and that is prior to surgery she needs, medications, and and any additional complications she may face. Anything helps… even a dollar. It takes a lot for me to ask for help so thank you in advanced for whatever you can offer.

Update:  She will be transferring to Sage in Redwood City for surgery tomorrow.  They estimate it will be an additional 4k-5k more after the initial $3500 so far.
