I never thought I would be writing something like this - but I need your help. On Thursday, September 9th, at around 6:30 pm, I arrived home to find my 7 month old corgi puppy, Bo, lethargic, wheezy, and laying in his vomit. After a quick online veterinary consult, it was determined that I should take him to the emergency animal hospital. When we arrived, they marked Bo as critical and immediately took him back and started working in him.

The doctors have determined that he has a bad case of aspiration pneumonia. He has been placed into an oxygen tank and without it, he struggles to breathe. They are keeping him for 24-36 hours.

Because of the level of care that he is receiving, the vet bill has become very large. I am embarrassed to even be asking for help, but at this point I am not sure what else to do.

I am asking for $2500 that will go directly to the BluePearl Veterinary Hospital in Tacoma. This is an urgent request, as they are requiring a $2970 upfront deposit, with the rest of the amount due at pickup. Overall, it is estimated that it will cost $3257 to treat Bo.

If you’ve ever met Bo or seen pictures of him, you know that he is a happy puppy and loves everyone he meets. Seeing him like this has absolutely crushed me, and I am at a loss.
