Emergency Operation: Funding Chester’s Surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We are reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of our beloved Chester. Chester is more than just a pet - he is family, a loyal friend, and loved by many, many people.
On 23rd May 2025, we noticed Chester was struggling to keep his balance. This got progressively worse and on 24th May 2025, he took a fall from the top to the bottom of the stairs followed by vomiting.
Chester was referred to an emergency veterinary centre and diagnosed with a Disc Extrusion. This occurs when the cushioning discs between the vertebrae bulge or burst, compressing the spinal cord. We are not sure how long it is going to take until Chester becomes completely paralysed from the waist down.
He will need scans, surgery, and physiotherapy.
We never thought we would have to ask for help to save our boy. As you can imagine, the vet bills have added up quickly, and the unexpected expenses have been overwhelming. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us and to Chester. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would be equally appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
With love,
Chester’s family x
