Hi, my name is Lara Christley, and I’m a Frogtown neighbor working alongside a small group of trusted community members to raise emergency mutual aid funds for residents in the Frogtown neighborhood.

We are responding to immediate needs we are seeing in our community—neighbors facing sudden financial hardship due to recent policy changes, increased enforcement activity, job instability, housing insecurity, and other urgent situations. These funds are meant to provide direct, short-term assistance to help people get through critical moments—things like food, housing support, utilities, and other essential needs.

This is a time-limited, community-led effort. Funds raised will be distributed quickly and thoughtfully, based on requests coming through a separate community intake process, with decisions made collectively by a small stewardship group. No funds will be used for administrative costs, and organizers will not personally benefit from this fundraiser.

Our focus is neighbors helping neighbors, with care, transparency, and accountability. Thank you for supporting Frogtown and standing with our community in this moment.
