Emergency moving expenses for small family in Salmon Arm

Hi, my name is Patricia Purdaby. I live in Salmon Arm, BC, Canada. Currently, our family of four is in dire straits because of an eviction notice and is required to find a new home by November 30th. This time limit is very stressful and has been hard on our family. We do not currently have the finances to cover moving expenses, storage space, and gas. We both work full time jobs and are busy parents with two young children ages 9 and 6 in school. The eviction notice came by surprise to our family, and our landlord is threatening to keep our damage deposit plus additional charges.

Donations will support with the following expeses:

Moving Expenses:
Moving Company Labour - $850
UHaul Truck Rental - $150/day
Gas - $100 for U-Haul; $120 for gas for people helping move
Food - $300 feeding people who are helping
Rental Dollies/Pads (e.g., furniture dolly, appliance dolly rental, pads for furtniture and appliance protection during move) - $155
Storage Unit (6 months) - $1560
Boxes & Packing Supplies (e.g., packing tape, boxes, bubble wrap, plastic stretch wrap, packing paper, plastic couch cover, mattress bag, etc.) - $500
Cleaning Supplies - $100
Dump fees for cleaning out space - $50
Utilities and Internet account charges - $215
Rent support - $1600 (damage deposit and first month rent)
