Hi, my name is Babette Ory. I’m 71 years old and the daughter of jazz legend Kid Ory, a pioneer of New Orleans jazz whose legacy helped shape American music.

Right now, I’m in a major life transition. After facing housing scams, storm damage, and a recent car accident, I’m doing everything I can to move into a safe, clean home that will be ready by June 1st.
