Emergency move to Arkansas

Hello my name is Leah, I have four beautiful children ages 4, 3, 2, and a newborn baby and have been financially struggling to make ends meet here in Spokane Washington and had my fourth baby boy Theodore three weeks ago. Our landlord started our rent out at $950 a month for our two bedroom duplex back in December of 2021 and then upped it to $1,300 that following June. We managed to pay that but it was definitely harder for us. A month ago the landlord notified us that he will need to raise rent again but didn’t tell us how much the increase would be. I got a call from him last week and he said that the new lease is due to be signed by the 1st of September with the new rental amount of $1,650… My heart sank and I knew my family was going to fail here if we continued to stay and I felt like for such a small space to live for my children the price was extremely unfair. My father and sister is in Arkansas and they are the only family I have… The cost of living is a quarter of what it is here so I am trying to get home and start completely over with my toddlers and newborn baby.. we are packing what clothes we can fit in our small SUV and getting rid of everything we have. I am having to ask for help so I can get there and also have the first months rent and deposit to start into a new place. My husband has a roofing job to start us out that is already set in stone but it will be a couple weeks before he will get a first paycheck. I have been fighting post partum depression through this and am trying so hard to stay strong for my family during this. By September 1st we will be homeless and our car does not have AC and I am worried it won’t make it to Arkansas but have been praying it will.
