Emergency Relocation for Cancer Treatment and Safety

Hi, my name is Aline. I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of a dear friend and longtime member of our vegan community. She is an animal rights advocate, a philanthropist at heart, and someone who has always given generously to others.

Right now, she is facing a life-threatening situation and urgently needs support.

For safety reasons, she is remaining anonymous. Below, she shares her story in her own words.

Her Story

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am currently facing Stage III breast cancer and preparing to begin treatment. Recently, my mother passed away suddenly from late -stage leukemia. Overnight, I lost my mom, my best friend, my home, and my primary support system.

With no safe options available at the time, I moved in with my ex.

Unfortunately, that situation has become unsafe. There has been physical aggression, a police report, and ongoing daily harassment and abuse. The stress has severely aggravated my condition. I am also dealing with nerve pain and medical restrictions that prevent me from lifting or straining, so I cannot physically move out on my own.

My oncologist is optimistic about my treatment, and so am I. However, we both agree that healing requires a safe and stable environment, free from constant stress and fear.

I am asking for help to make a clean and urgent break so I can relocate safely and focus on treatment. It is not easy for me to ask for help, but I am in a desperate situation.

I believe in my body’s ability to heal. I have previously completed two separate 42-day water-only fasts with success. However, after my mother’s passing and enduring ongoing abuse, my tumor has doubled in size. I know I can shrink it again, but I need safety and peace to do so.

I have more to give. I want to continue serving my vegan community and sharing what I learn along the way. I fully intend to pay this forward many times over.

What the Funds Will Cover

• Moving costs (movers + truck; I cannot lift due to medical restrictions) - $1,000 US

• Housing (security deposit + first 1–3 months’ rent) - $4,000 US

• Basic setup (minimal essential household items) - $1,000 US

• Legal fees (consultation and filing costs to protect my safety and separate housing matters) - $5,000 US

• Medical equipment to support recovery - $1,500 US

Time is critical. I need to begin treatment soon and relocate to safety as quickly as possible.
