Hello everyone, unfortunately, I am in an emergency vehicle situation I wasn’t expecting to be in. My engine is failing on my 2019 Ford Escape, which I have a bigger loan out on than what it’s worth due to rolling some over. I’ve only had the vehicle for 2.5 years, and now it’s unsafe to drive. My son and I sat at the dealership for 6 hours yesterday (6/16/25), hoping to leave in something new one way or another. Unfortunately, with that large of debt, I need a few grand with a trade-in to even get into anything. We tried every option possible. My poor son sat there all day with me. There’s no possibility of my husband and I getting that kind of money quickly so that I have something safe for the kids and me to ride in. Sharing a car isn’t an option atm as he works at 5 am, and we can’t get the kids up that early just for him to get to work.

I need a new vehicle sooner than later as I need to get to and from work, my son needs to get to and from camp, and just regular life. I hate asking for help, but I’m at a point where I’m running out of options, and anything would help.
