GIGI IS HOME!!
Gigi is recovering slowly, after 2 extra nights in the animal hospital, we are now trying to raise £2,800.00 to cover the cost of this huge bill.
Hi my name is Kayley, the owner of Gigi.
Our sweet girl Gigi, who is just 7 years old, suddenly became critically unwell this week. She was diagnosed with Pyometra, a severe and life‑threatening infection that can affect unspayed dogs without warning. It progressed incredibly fast, and we had no choice but to rush her to an emergency vet for immediate, lifesaving treatment.
We’ve already paid £1,500 upfront toward the total bill of £4.206.30 and Gigi has just come out of emergency surgery. Her womb, filled with 4.5kg of infection, has been removed. She made it through the night — something we are so grateful for — but she is still in a critical stage of recovery and needs ongoing care to give her the best chance of surviving and returning to her happy, loving self.
Gigi is a strong, gentle, deeply loved member of our family. Seeing her fight so hard has been heartbreaking, but we’re determined to do everything we can for her.
We are hoping to raise £2,800.00 to cover the remaining cost of her emergency treatment.
Any donation — big or small — would mean the world to us and would directly support Gigi’s recovery.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us give Gigi the chance she deserves.
