Emergency support funds for The Boones

Hello, my name is Steven McLellan, and I am raising funds for my friend Chad Boone and his daughter, Lily, from Jacksonville, Florida.

In early August, Chad, a dad of three, took his adult kids and granddaughter up to visit his family in Minnesota.

This was the first post-pandemic visit with Chad's parents and the first time they had seen their great-granddaughter since her birth! This is also Lily's first time visiting her dad's childhood state and extended family, so much excitement abounded. While on their holiday, Lily, his youngest, required emergency abdominal surgery. Multiple surgeries have followed since that first one, and Lily remains in ICU at St Cloud.

Lily, who is now 23, was born with Spina Bifida and Exstrophy but never let that stop her. Cheerleader, modeling, swimteam, and has been a US Paralympic participant are just a few of her accomplishments.

Our prayers are for the continuing recovery of Lily. Future surgeries may be required.. but after recovery, she will need to be transported back to Jacksonville for the long rehabilitation. Chad's life and livelihood are there, and he has to travel back and forth, which is soul-crushing, not to mention financially crushing.

So I am creating a fundraiser for them. 100% of the proceeds I receive from GoFundme will go to Chad for medical bills, travel and whatever needs may arise for Lily.
