My name is Saurav Magar, and I am writing this fundraiser on behalf of my beloved sister, Jenisha Budha Magar, who is currently in Memorial Hermann Hospital suffering from severe internal bleeding, concussion and multiple fractures including skull, ribs and pelvic bones, after a devastating car accident in Houston Texas. I am by her side at the hospital and managing her care during this incredibly difficult time, since I am the only family she has in US.

With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to friends, family, and kind supporters to ask for help with Jenisha’s urgent medical expenses, including emergency treatment, surgeries, prolonged hospitalization, critical ICU care, and her long road to recovery.

About Jenisha

Jenisha came to the United States recently in July 2025 with big dreams. She is originally from Dang (Ghorahi), Nepal, and is currently a nursing student at San Jacinto Community College in Houston, Texas. She is a compassionate young woman who chose nursing because she wanted to help others heal. Tragically, she is now the one in need of care.

What Happened

On January 29, 2026, around 1:30 PM, Jenisha was involved in a serious car accident in Houston, Texas, near 13884 Beamer Rd, while leaving the university parking area after class.

There were five students in the car:

• The two front-seat passengers sustained minor injuries

• Passenger on the back

• One required right-hand fracture surgery and has since been discharged

• Another suffered pelvic, tailbone, and ankle fractures and is currently on bed rest

• Jenisha, who was seated in the middle of the back seat, and suffered the most severe impact and injuries

Current Medical Condition

After the accident, Jenisha was first taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors identified:

• Severe internal bleeding

• Multiple internal fractures

• A severe concussion with skull fracture

Due to the seriousness of her condition, she was airlifted to: Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center

Doctors performed emergency surgery to stop the internal bleeding, and she is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). After several terrifying hours, she regained consciousness, which we are incredibly grateful for. However, her condition remains critical, and doctors are closely monitoring her. She requires additional surgeries for her multiple fractures, along with extended ICU care and rehabilitation.

Why We Need Your Help

Jenisha is facing overwhelming medical expenses—emergency surgery, ICU hospitalization, future surgeries, medications, and long-term recovery care. As a young international student, this sudden and unexpected tragedy has placed an enormous financial burden on her and our family.
