Shannia was able to receive surgery in St. Lucia and funds from this fundraiser will go towards a continued hospital stay and post surgery care in addition to medications or other post surgery costs including medical equipment that will be essential for her recovery. Hello, I am raising funds on behalf of dear Shannia Valmond who is in need of urgent spinal cord surgery. Shannia was an active footballer in Dominica for many years and is an incredible sister and aunty. Shannia and four others were in a life threatening car accident in Dominica on the evening of November 23rd, 2024. Shannia’s spinal cord was severely damaged and the island does not have the medical equipment to do the surgery. We are requesting urgent support to pay for the flight to St. Lucia and her surgery costs. Anything would help including prayers. Thank you
