Hi, my name is Aryana, and I’m reaching out with an urgent request to help my grandfather, a U.S. citizen currently in Vientiane, Laos, who is in critical condition.

He is unable to walk, eat, speak, or see, and has been placed on a feeding tube and oxygen. His blood is dangerously thick and dark, and he has a history of diabetes and Lyme disease. Right now, he’s at home with minimal care available, we are doing everything we can to get him the emergency medical attention he needs.

Local hospitals have limited resources, and international medical care or evacuation to Thailand may be the only hope to stabilize his condition.
