Please keep Ben Ward and his family in your thoughts and prayers as his father was recently in a serious motorcycle accident this past Sunday on May 18, 2025. He was recently life-flighted from Womack Hospital in Fayetteville, NC to a trauma center in Chapel Hill, NC, where he remains in critical condition. He has gone through multiple surgeries this past week and remains in critical condition. At this time, he is currently on life support and fighting for his life. Ben Ward's Back Story:

Ben Ward is a Sergeant in the North Carolina National Guard, where he serves as a Forward Observer with 1-113 FA "Axehandle" Battalion. He has served over 10 years in the United States Army and North Carolina National Guard with 1 combat deployment to Afghanistan and 1 deployment to the Middle East. SGT Ward is an excellent NCO who puts the needs of others before himself and would literally give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. His charismatic attitude is felt throughout the unit and can always be counted on for a good laugh and morale boost. Let us lift his spirits up in this time of need and help him in any way possible.
