My name is Patricia Foster and I am based in the United Kingdom. I am organising this fundraiser to support Maher Al-Afifi, a journalist who is currently seriously ill and receiving treatment in Gaza.

I was informed of Maher’s situation by a member of the international Focusing community who is directly connected to him. Due to the seriousness of his condition and the limited availability of specialised medical treatment locally, I decided to organise this fundraiser to help support his care.

Maher is currently being treated at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis. He has been diagnosed with a serious illness and requires further medical treatment that is not available locally. His condition requires ongoing care and may require transfer for additional treatment if this becomes possible.

The funds raised will be used for medical and humanitarian purposes, including treatment, possible transfer for further care, travel and coordination costs, and essential needs during this period.

The funds will be received by me, Patricia Foster, in the United Kingdom and managed by me. I will transfer the funds in a careful and transparent way to Maher Al-Afifi or to a trusted person directly involved in his care, using standard transfer methods and keeping records.

This fundraiser is not connected to any political or military activity. It is a humanitarian effort to support medical care.
