With Kameryn’s permission, I (Maddie) have created this GoFundMe due to her beloved firstborn, Huckleberry, needing emergency veterinary care on September 20, 2025.

Bobo’s medical care is going to cost a minimum of $5,200 (likely more) and Kameryn has been unemployed for the last 1.5 years and is finally starting a new job next week. Payment plans are unfortunately not offered by the veterinary hospital. If you are able to help, please donate here, or on Venmo @kamerynwhipple, or share this with your friends and family ❤️❤️

Huckleberry (better known as Huck or Bobo) was admitted to the vet hospital due to not eating/drinking, not using the bathroom, and hiding. The vet hospital gave him an appointment first thing due to his symptoms being urgent. He is still under hospital care and after many tests, they found him to be extremely anemic with very dangerous high kidney values. He will be in the hospital until they can get his numbers back to normal.

This GoFundMe is being set up because the FIRST round of tests and care is estimated to be between $5,987.98 and $6,497.36. Kameryn and Joseph had to pay a $2,000 deposit upfront for initial tests and are unsure how they will cover the rest.

As many of Kameryn’s loved ones know, she was laid off from her job in April 2024 and has been tirelessly applying to jobs and working side gigs like babysitting and housesitting to make minimum bill payments. Luckily, she recently was offered a full-time position that starts on September 30. Her financial situation WITHOUT this emergency care is precarious due to having to use her savings and credit cards to cover basic needs over the last year and a half.
