Athena, my wife's cat, suddenly became extremely weak and lethargic yesterday. It was even more pronounced today, so we took her in to the emergency vet. She was severely anemic, as well as dehydrated, so she is needing to be hospitalized while they rehydrate her and see if she might need a blood transfusion.
To make matters more dire, Athena has feline leukemia, so her own immune system may fight back against the treatment. The potential costs that we are looking at for this range from $2500 to $4500 dollars. We really need help.
Even if you can only donate a small amount, every little bit helps. And if you can't donate, please share the post if you're able and keep us in your thoughts, prayers and blessings. Please help our warrior goddess fight.
We'll be posting the cost estimate once we can get a digital copy from the vet.
