- Our hearts are shattered. In January, we rescued sweet 9-month-old Suki from a difficult situation in Mississippi and brought her home to Massachusetts. She quickly became more than just a dog — she’s family.
Suki is our kids’ constant shadow, their playmate, their snuggle buddy at bedtime, and the heart of our home. The pure joy and love she brings our young children every single day has been beautiful to watch.
Now, out of nowhere, Suki is facing a serious intestinal condition that requires emergency surgery. Without it, her life is at risk. The total cost for her urgent care and procedure is $11,000 — an amount we simply cannot afford on our fixed budget.
We’re doing everything we can to save her, but we need help. The thought of telling our kids their beloved Suki might not come home is devastating.
