Emergency Hysterectomy Fund for Jenna Raymer
Donation protected
So life has thrown me a curveball. Most people know me as the unstoppable force who can work 3 jobs with a smile on my face. But my body had different plans. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy with no chance to plan for it. Thank god for my job at Nordstrom and the incredible insurance they provide. Thanks to that I was able to see a great doctor and it probably saved my life.
Now I'm facing at least 4 weeks off work waiting for my abdominal wall to heal. I'm working on getting all the resources available to me but at the moment I'm facing eviction. I've filed for disability but that will only pay 60% of my normal full time wages and even that takes time.
Many of you know all the work I do to foster and place dogs. I still have one of my own and a foster who is likely a forever foster due to his challenges. I can't let them lose their home and I want to be able to stay here and help place more dogs in the future.
I'm looking for fund raise so that I can meet this month's rent and just stay afloat until I can return to work and start paying off those surgery bills. This is a truly humbling time as I've never faced a situation that was so far out of my control.
I'm looking to raise $3500 to pay my $1400 rent plus start making payments on the Emergency Room Bills, Doctors bills, Hospital and Surgery room bills. I know my full amount due is going to be a lot more but I do expect to be back to work at the end of the month and want to pay as much as I can on my own.
At the moment I have until 4/8/19 before my landlord files for eviction so my situation is so urgent.
Thank you for reading and please share if you know anyone who can help even a little. Your thoughts and prayers will help my spirit during this time. I just know I can make it past this bump in the road and keep doing good things for those around me.
